Matt Tompkins
Attorney Tompkins practices in the area of civil litigation. Mr. Tompkins has extensive experience litigating construction loss claims, commercial matters, premises liability matters, third party automobile negligence claims, general negligence matters and product liability disputes. He is licensed to practice in Michigan’s state and federal courts. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Grand Rapids Bar Association and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He also serves as a case evaluator in Kent County and Muskegon County. He participates in Legal Aid of West Michigan’s Pro Bono Program. Mr. Tompkins earned his B.A. degree from Hillsdale College and his J.D. degree cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law.

He is licensed to practice in Michigan’s state and federal courts and practiced in Chicago, Illinois for the first 11 years of his career. He earned his B.A. degree from The University of Michigan and his J.D. degree from DePaul University College of Law.

Brandon G. Warzybok received his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University in 2010 and his Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Detroit Mercy- School of Law in 2014. Mr. Warzybok entered the Michigan bar in 2014. From 2015 through 2016, he worked as an Associate with Bradley Putney PLC out of Traverse City, Michigan, focused on the fields of insurance defense and real property litigation. In 2017, he moved his family to Southwest Michigan, where he clerked for the Honorable John M. Donahue, retired Circuit Court Judge at the Berrien County Trial Court in St. Joseph, Michigan. In 2018, he joined Straub, Seaman & Allen. Mr. Warzybok’s primary areas of concentration include premises liability, automobile negligence, insurance defense, real estate, municipal law, and business litigation. His professional memberships include the Order of the Barristers and American Inns of Court.

Grant Semonin graduated Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019. He then earned his Juris Doctor degree Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2022 and received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Excellence in the Art of Advocacy. During law school, Mr. Semonin served as Executive Notes Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation and competed as an oralist on the ABA team of the Notre Dame Moot Court Board. He has been published in the Journal of Legislation regarding the clergy-penitent privilege. Prior to joining Straub, Seaman & Allen, Mr. Semonin worked as a summer associate with regional firms in Illinois and Texas, and as a corporate counsel extern with the Global Disputes team at Whirlpool Corporation. His practice will cover areas including labor & employment law, business litigation, insurance defense, trademarks, copyrights, and other general civil defense matters. Grant is licensed in Indiana.
